Tickets have gone on sale today for the Lake District's Kendal Calling festival which will be headlined this year by The Streets.

The Travelling Band
The band fronted by Mike Skinner head a line-up of first confirmed acts which includes The Travelling Band, The Kabeedies, Cornershop, The Yards, Riot Jazz, Kasms, and Scroobius Pip who returns to the festival again this year curate a night of poetry.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £70, a child (11-14 years) weekend ticket is priced at £40, and children under 11 can attend for free, but need a ticket. To buy tickets, click here.

Kendal Calling is held in the Lake District, over the weekend of Friday 31st July to Sunday 2nd August and is a wholly independent festival returning for its fourth year in a new location at the Lowther Deer Estate, Lowther Castle, Kendal, in East Cumbria.

As well as the main stage action there are acoustic acts and DJs, plus festival entertainers, beer tent, big top marquees, and new this years are comedians in a yurt, a folk/roots tent, and cabaret.

Festival goers can expect a circus big-top main stage, large second stage, an intimate acoustic stage and chillout area, and camping is available.
