Larmer Tree Festival, taking place at Larmer Tree Gardens, near Tollard Royal (about 16 miles W of Salisbury), on the Wilts/Dorset border from Wednesday 16th to Sun 20th July has announced the first acts for 2008.
Confirmed for the Wednesday are Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, with support from acoustic blues artist Eric Bibb. On the Thursday there's the Levellers, with funky folk big-band Bellowhead.
Also confirmed, to play over the weekend of Friday 18th to Sunday 20th are Kate Rusby, Julie Fowlis, and LaXula.
Tickets are on sale, priced at £172 for 5 days; £139 for 4 days; £110 for 3 days; and days priced at £33 for the Wednesdya, £29 for the Thursday, £35 for the Friday, £55 for the Saturday, and £48 for the Sunday. To buy, click here.
