The Beautiful South added to V Festival

The Beautiful South are the latest name added to the twin-site V Festival, which takes place at both Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire on Saurday 19th and Sunday 20th August.

Formed in 1989 by Paul Heaton and Dave Hemingway following the demise of The Housemartins, 17 years and 11 albums later (and 15M sold) they're still producing fantastic songs. At V this year, the band will be performing old favourites as well as material from their new album ‘Superbi’, out next month.

They join the previously confirmed acts, which include headliners Radiohead, and Morrissey, plus Faithless, Beck, Kasabian, Paul Weller, Keane, Editors, Groove Armada, Bloc Party, Fatboy Slim, The Charlatans, The Ordinary Boys, The Go!
