Beautiful Days

The Levellers have put together their own festival - called Beautiful Days - "to offer not only the best in live music today but to re-create a community spirit that many events nowadays lack or choose to ignore. This event is about people young and old coming together and taking part in something that will be remembered for a long time."

This is the culmination of lots of work, that started last summer with an attempt by The Levellers to hold a festival called Green Blade Fayre. Last years plans had to be abandoned after they ran into problems obtaining a licence for the event.

Beautiful Days is to be held at Escot Park, near Fairmile, Devon over the weekend of 16/17th August, and will feature music as well as site art and sculpture, children's activities, camping facilities, licensed bars, world food, craft stalls and more.

The Levellers are the finale to the festival on the Sunday night, and over the weekend they'll be joined by musicians and bands from around the world. The full line-up will be "announced very soon".

Tickets will go on general sale on Tuesday 27 May. All entrants - even under-5's (who are free) - must have a ticket. There is priority booking from Monday 12th May for OTF members, as well as ticket price discounts. An order form for tickets will be available to print off from tomorrow at www.levellers.co.uk.
