more confirmed for Reading & Leeds

More bands have been confirmed for the twin Reading and Leeds Festivals, which take place on 23rd-25th August.

New to the Main Stage are Vex Red, who will play Reading on Saturday and Leeds on Sunday - on the same day as Foo Fighters and Muse.

Added to the Radio 1 Evening Session Stage are Finch, at Reading on Friday and Leeds on Saturday - on the same day as Feeder. Cornershop and Six by Seven have also been added for the same day as Spiritualized (Reading on Sunday, Leeds on Friday), with "special guests" still to be announced for that day.

New for the Dance Tent are Ladytron, Freq Nasty (both at Reading on Friday, Leeds on Saturday), People Under The Stairs and Blak Twang (both at Reading on Sunday, Leeds on Friday).

Weekend tickets for Reading have nearly sold out. They are still available from Piccadilly Box Office (0161 832 1111), Stargreen (020 7734 8932) and selected HMV stores throughout the UK.
