I really fancy adding this in to our list (Damned and Alabama 3 :P - no brainer to me!).

Anyone know why caravans aren't allowed on site, and if there's anywhere for caravans nearby? Since the demise of the festiebus it looks like this is going to be this year's option. Yup, I've done my time in the tent and had a ball but we're spoilt brats now who've been used to a few home comforts at festivals for the last few years

Har!

Paul, we would have had you and approx. 6 others staying in the "cottage" - if it wasn't an annexe of the owner's house. They were v. nice but the look of horror on their faces when I bumped into them on the festival site, pint in one hand, fag in the other, enthusiastic greeting from moi, was enough to tell me "Dinnae!".

Now, one of Somerled's ideas mentions a horse (been angling for a horse, so will go and discuss this off the boards - sorry for hijacking everyone!).

its a caravan park rather than a campsite. Its actually about 17 miles from the festival site though. I just cant think of any closer caravan sites, oh wait there is this one which is 12 miles
