Top link mate, thanks for that, saw The Pistols in 96 at Finsbury park when they opened with Bodies, God the place just went mad, could not hear the band because of the audience singing!

2002 at Crystal Palace was not great, strange choice of set list, John singing My way was wrong! And opening with Hawkwinds Silver machine was just bizarre?

Caught the band at 3 of the recent Brixton shows and they were just incendiary each night, so glad they are back on form.

Cant see what all the fuss is about them headlining IOW, you pays your money and takes your choice, if you dont like it, stay away, easy as that really.

Been going to festivals in UK for best part of 20 years, now go mainly to Euro rock festivals such as Graspop, Sweden rock festival, always going to be One or Two bands i am not keen on, sometimes they are the headliners!

Boring world it would be if we all agreed on the same bands.

Grammar ok with everyone?

Sigh :P

I was at a gig last night and after the encore had finished 'Pretty Vacant' was played over the venue PA system and EVERYBODY was singing along. Just imagine after a day on the beer finishing off with the Pistols live. It's going to be brilliant. Can't wait.

The Sex Pistols could play their first new songs in nearly 30 years at the Isle Of Wight Festival this summer.

The reformed punks headline the event which takes place in June and have admitted they want to write some new songs for the appearance.

"There's talk of new material,” drummer Paul Cook told eGigs. “The only problem is that it's a bit hard to work on anything as John (Lydon) and Steve (Jones) are in America and Glen (Matlock) and I are in the UK. So, it's a case of finding the time to get together."

He added that a new album from the Sex Pistols was unlikely, but they were targeting the festival for the new songs.

"We might not pull together an album but hopefully there will be some new stuff in time for the summer," Cook explained.
