I'm not a flag user so I'll say my bit and get the hell out........

There was once a nice user here who was the master of all flags called Dad. If my memory serves me right he had a vision of using a washing line, the round square metal type carousel ones, to stabilize the height of his very tall flag. Whether his theory actually worked or not I dunno. I remember him vaguely talking about putting the thing upside and somehow fixing it to the ground. He reckoned it would give enough stability to abnormaly high poles and flags. You may however get a few frowns walking in with your Mums washing line!

Was a long time ago though so I may be talking nonsense........tata

Right, the flag bungee breakdown...

Image 1 - take your flag and your bungee:

Image 2 - thread bungee through the eyelit:

I repeat this step, going back through again to eliminate the slack from the bungee...

Image 3 - place around the flagpole:

Image 4 - fold bungee around pole and over ball:

Job done! :D

Pull the plastic bit on the bungee through tightly ie until flag and flagpole are tight together then loop bungee round until it can't move anywhere. I think Pogal has shown it like this so everyone can see what way the bungee should be put through, then you loop it through until tight in place. :D

Hard to explain but relatively easy in practice!

Beezer!

Impressed there is no vertical slippage between nylon and plastic... but you are testament to this truth.

Does it allow lateral 'flag-spinage'? (flag spinach?)
