glasto_mongrel_2008
Cafe Avalon was a good place to have a sit down and chill and watch the banjo tap dancer man, Cider bus was good for meeting people and realising just how many efesters there are at Glasto, Glade was good for dancing and the brothers bar was good for that Heaven sent strawberry crafted by the gods miracle juice that they sell there. I intend to spend some more time in the greenfields this year ad I only had a quick wander through one day last year.

John the Moth
Digging deep to resurrect this thread 😃 There are so many places that I love to hang out at the festival, but I tend to end up at the Ridge and Farrow, Avalon Inn and the bar up by the sign (Trickets? I proposed to missus moth on the steps there in 2016) more than most. Edited May 29, 2021 by John the Moth Correcting autocorrect

Ayrshire Chris
Used to be the five hours or so at the gate queue anticipating the five days ahead before we moved to Worthy View! Now it’s the Avalon area for a bit of relaxation and a few beers n the sun!

blutarsky
Last time around it was either Maceos or the Tow and Hitch. 2017 it was probably the West Holts. Either way, all roads seem to lead to 5am at the Gas Tower.
Padgey
In 2019 it was anywhere we could get a bit of shade on the Wednesday and Thursday, around the Circus and Theatre tents were busy!
Wellyboot
wherever i am at the time is usually my favourite place, until i go to the next place 🙂 (only at Glastonbury tho -I never sit at work and think its great here, that would be rubbish!) nikkic
A selection of my faves...... - Permaculture gardens Love spending 30 minutes in here, feels like a world away from the hustle and bustle of the festival - West Holts Try and get here for the first few acts, sit back with a bit of food and a nice cool Brothers to start the day - The Park hill No better place to view the rest of the festival. Something magical about watching the place in full flow from up high. - The Temple Probably my favourite place for late night raving, always a great atmosphere - Stone Circle An obvious one but sitting up there with hundreds of wonky folk always brings a smile to my face
