Is this the same for the Hotels listed on the site ? I keep checking the Exit site, and it describes the hotels, but i can't seem to find any way of booking them.

I remember last year they did special packages for accomodation etc. is this going to continue this year ?

Right, I basically sent them the same message I posted above on Monday, and had been checking me e-mail every hour or so for a reply (yeah, i don't have many mates). i'll chill out a bit then.

You could view the 2005 site not so long ago (can't now unless you can get it on a web archive thing), and i seem to remember the 5* place was about 160 euros for 4 nights, down to about 60 euros for the 2* bargain.

Funny you should ask!!

Have a look at http://www.eufest.com.

Site is still a little bit of a work in progress, but we are chartering some coaches to go from the airport at Budapest to Novi Sad before the festival, and from Novi Sad back to the airport afterwards. Info on the website, but if you have any questions the email address is on there.

See you all there, folks!!

Cheers mate, great post - you've really whetted my appetite!

Booked up around a month ago, flying into Budapest (as I assume most people will be).

Is that the route you took? If so, can you give an approximate cost for train/ coach? What about accomodation?

Any help would be most appreciated.

It takes six hours by bus to get to Novi Sad from Budapest, one-way ticket is around 1700 dinars (20 Euros) and return ticket is 2500 dinars (30 Euros). There is a bus from Budapest to Novi Sad 14h and from Novi Sad to Budapest at 22.25h (check http://www.volan.hu/menetrmezo/612.html). Train to Budapest departs at 09.55 and 23.45h from Novi Sad Railway Station and from from Budapest Keleti Railway Station at 12.58 and 22.53, return train ticket is 2170 dinars (25 Euros)

I am from Novi Sad. If you want to know more about festival ask me at markovurdelja@netscape.net

Balaton is nice lake to stay at few days but you should spend one day at Budapest too! from where you can take train to Novi Sad where all fun will be!

Hi are flying into Budapest from Glasgow on the Weds, we have booked into the Bonaca apartments, we had tried emailing some places but got no response, we called the apartments and booked over the phone its 140 euros a night for a 3 bed apartment and 100 euros for a 2 bed apartment, you could prob get something cheaper but these look really nice! The website is http://www.apartmani-bonaca.co.yu/english/ if you want to call them the number with dialing code is 0038 121 446600.

Hope this helps!
