Someoni
Thought I'd start a thread on what is your go to choice of food and beverage is at the festival these days? It's been quite a while since I last attended, so the options will be vastly different I imagine. There must be some real gems out there, goan curry rings a bell, with some very vood naans. I'm sure I've seen another thread somewhere so feed free to merge / delete .. Edited January 11 by Someoni Grammar
tarw
I have to say that the Indonesian Coconut curry was my favourite last year. Sweet , tasty and filling. Probably be too rich for me normally but hit the spot at the time. Id say it’s probably best having a new thread this year as a lot of the info is out of date and lamenting the loss of previous food stalls (or celebrating in the case of the Growler). Maybe change the title to show it’s 2025 version
LateStarter50
If you need fuelling at 2am onwards then Dead Good Burritos are aptly named, next to IICON
Skip997
Whatever crew food I get and whatever I decide to cook. Don’t often eat out, but have one recommendation - Food Groove cafe at bottom of Undle Ground
CanWeRest
Tbh, I don't go for the dining experience although I've seen a lot of interesting stalls. I lose weight with the walking and minimal eating. My favourite budget place is Danela's Bakery though. Gets me through. 1

Franky
This is the thread!!! Annnnnnnnnd go! 😂😂 There is soooooo much good food at Glasto, I could eat at a different place everyday for 2 weeks. Some stall come and some stalls go but my tradition is a Mezze in the park on a Thursday morning and has been since 2010 👍 I did have some amazing Venezuelan street food over at West Holts last year 👍 RIP the Welsh Oggie 😢
CaledonianGonzo
I usually have decent to good recall of what I eat year on year, but for some reason I have a complete blank regarding 2024.
lendan
We start the day off at Simply Toasties, between car henge and the kids field, Dead Good Burrito was our saviour a couple of times @LateStarter50
westholtschic
Our favourite is the veggie tent at Crossiant Neuf and we are not vegetarian. RIP the Growler 1
Ayrshire Chris
Best food outlets, imo, are around the west holts stage. Great variety and quality. But best comfort food fish and chips,at the rear of pyramid field, followed by a few pints at the cider bus area😊😉
Someoni
Usually, getting decent food would be a side mission as getting twisted would be priority number 1. This time round though its more of a family visit to the farm so all of you recommendations are much appreciated. I'm sure someone mentioned a good fry up on the upstairs of a double decker..?

Maybe change the title to show it’s 2025 version I absolutely loved the coconut curry in 2022, ate there twice it was so good. This year I noticed that they'd expanded to more than one location and a fair few people I talked to bigged them up. I had a different coconut curry from a stall in west holts and it was so big a portion I couldn't finish it, great value and really tasty. Ben7amin_
Big fan of the Lebanese Mezzae in the park Great Value aswell. Though I did once see a rather stoned young 20's Girl get to the front and go completely under trying to work out which options she wanted in the end he had to re-queue and try again lol

Ayrshire Chris
Some of the pie and mash outlets can be eh, a bit hit and miss😊😉, you could have used this mash instead of putty to reglaze a window.
bob323
my mind is blank on the name. the all day breakfast cafe place next to the caberet tent - run as a charity for kids food is cheap (for a festival) and quality and portions are ok. no longer there now, but there used to be a wooden house (similar to avalon pub) in the acoustic field run by a religous sect. that place was great - anyone knows what happend to it

Just vile. Same for the bubble/giant yorkie place. Serving someone beans in 2024 shouold be illegal.

The alternative to beans are lukewarm mushy peas that resembled dog puke. This pie was 2022 festival vintage😉

GordonMcG
Got Indonesian Coconut Curry twice for dinner in 2024 and will probably do the same again this year. Elite tier stuff imo. The place where you an get a pie/sausage roll/etc late night is ideal too. It's not exactly gourmet food, but hits the spot after a long day of walking and drinking. nikkic
The last couple of years we’ve camped in Big Ground. Each morning we’d walk down to the T and C field, so many good options there and minimal queuing compared to the rest of the site. You can also get an unreal Bloody Mary from the cocktail bar, which is without doubt the best way to start the day.
