There's no such thing anymore, or at least there hasn't been public ones for many years now.

Did you check with the festival whether efestivals was a genuine distributor of prize tickets?

There was an unannounced coach resale in 22 or 23 on the same day as general resale. 

And Sunday tickets went back on sale unannounced last year.

There are still secret resales every year but they are only open to friends and family of crew.   They can nominate registration numbers to be whitelisted to buy the standard price ticket.

Having been a member of eFestivals since 2008 I was aware it was an annual thing so there was no need. Why do you ask?

The previous site owner had a good relationship with the festival and managed to blag a couple of tickets for the competition, when the site was sold I suspect that door closed sadly.

I got six tickets in May 2013. Was at lunchtime mid-week. I remember it like yesterday, I'd whacked on a page scanner script just for shits and giggles - I didn't actually think they ran any further sales.

 

My friends thought it was a scam to the point of us actually walking in to the festival.
