Arrivals stage - Shangri-La

Apologies if there is a thread on this already - but did anyone manage to get into the new Arrivals stage in Shangri-La this year? It was the new South-Asian stage. I didn't manage to, but would love to try and get in there at some point next year. 

 

I walked past it once and there was a bit of a queue - also felt it was very easy to walk past and not even notice it - as from memory it was a small entrance to the side just before the Truth stage to the left as you're walking through - with the tent behind the small entrance so you couldn't even see it.

 

Anyway I'd love to hear your stories if you made it in, what it was like, how big was it and will you be making a point of going next year?

How on earth did I miss that. Mind you memory is a bit hazy. 
 

Didn’t spend much time in Shangri-La this, more Block 9 and The Common

Very easy to miss as it sort of blended into the fake shop front facades in that area of Shangri-La.

Went in but didn't think much of it in all honestly.

Small from what I can remember with a DJ booth in the middle you could walk all the way around.

Think there was about a 3 minute queue and most people were in looking about then getting off.

I didn't go in but heard it was very popular once people got wind of it by the end of the weekend 🙂

I thought arrivals was the outdoor stage, which would be to the right of the place in image, set back from the main walk way through Shangri-la! I watched some stuff on there which at the time I thought had an south-asian twist.

I didn't even make it to the SE corner this year! Not my natural habitat anyway but I like to wander around in the daylight and take in the creativity

Our group went in! We had no idea what it was, just saw a queue and joined it. Stayed for about 30 mins, was good fun and a nice change from all the usual dance music in SE corner. They also had a "beer garden" out the back with seating areas and a few Carrom tables (Indian board game). Will probably go back in for a bit in 2025, queue looked long but only took about 10 mins
