They still appeal to a Reading-level demographic? I know we had this argument about Muse a few pages back and The Strokes' success was even longer ago than theirs. Although tbf it something to note that when I first went to Reading for a day trip in 2011 that Strokes/Pulp co-headline and Muse were two of the headliners.

Eh. Huddersfield's close enough to Leeds to rule them out, isn't it?

Manchester City claim victory over Premier League after tribunal verdict | Premier League | The Guardian Apparently this is more asymmetric, where the tribunal said the ideas of the rules are valid but not how they were applied. Not sure if this means that Newcastle can get our Saudi overlords (in charge for three years as of today) to go for it and just throw hundreds of millions at our squad, or at least be able to buy a striker that is less fragile than Callum Wilson.

Trying to recall the source for this. I dunno if it's gospel.... We got the GnR booking in October 2022. I'm no obstetrician but the timing doesn't really stack up. -
Don't you think maybe she might have just turned Coachella down purely cause it's too early in the year - and that her tour isn't ready for then? Might not be about the money. It sounds like she was booked initially for 2023, and pulled out due to pregnancy. Sounds like it's not to do with money, part of me thinks maybe Glastonbury 2025 was already pencilled in for her a while ago and Coachella just didn't work with her touring plans. There seems to be a lot of news articles about a big tour next year including Glastonbury specifically, from British and American sources, they must be coming from somewhere.
