It's already May, but there are no announcements. And Liam is recording something with John Squire. We definitely have a new tour coming next year?🤨

Liam obviously seen 100% coming out of Abbey Road yesterday. Rumours Squire was there too but uncertain.

I'm wondering why they're not announcing a new Oasis tour even though it's already May 7th.

They could announce it a week in advance and they’d still shift the tickets

What was it last time, August announcement for October sale?

Can't remember

August announcement with an August sale. I think it was a Saturday sale too, cause I was at the Emirates having an absolute mare getting signal, before my sister saved me

31 August they went on sale. Hull played leeds away so was a nightmare on the train trying to get them. Was it only announced the week before?

I’ll never forget that Saturday. I spent the whole morning glued to the screen, and just as I was entering my bank details to pay for tickets for Wembley… the page crashed and it all went down the drain 😥

Here in Spain, there were rumours of a show at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid...

(Please excuse my English...🤭 )

Hi. I wouldn't say very strange, no.

As folk have said above, the initial comeback announcement was in August 2024, with ticket sales on the final day of August 2024. That tour started in June 2025.

Whilst I don't have other info, as such, I was told by someone who has family who work on the trams here that they've been told to brace themselves for next summer, because 'a certain band' have a residency at the Etihad.

Previous rumours suggested they'd be there throughout June - based on the other info we had on here, I reckon that's right.

Whether there's a Glastonbury shaped hole amongst that residency or not, I do not know...

Thanks. If I recall correctly that premier events company that posted something on their website about a Knebworth run a couple of weeks ago had dates end of June until August so it all fits together nicely... (they didn't give specific dates just a window)

I'm not convinced on Knebworth. Not based on any info, just feels like one people are willing to happen.

Europe will obviously be happening this time.

God knows at this point.

They’d do a “down south” option wouldn’t they?

So it would be between Knebworth, Wembley and Spurs ground.

Pure guess work but I’d wager on the first if I had to

Cardiff was touted again on here, alongside Celtic & the Etihad, dunno what we're classing that as 😅👀

    • its diabolical already 😞 .... The refs should have walked out in solidarity
    • The main problem with these is that noone really predicts the shocks that happen in the early knockouts or quarters, so it inevitably gets to like what I put in the semis (France v Spain and Eng vs Arg). You always end up with 4/6 of the top sides reaching the semis, and this is with me 'predicting' Swiss to beat Portugal.   I think we will see a shock result against a top 5-6 team of an African/Asian side knocking a favourite out, and I can see one of the big guns resting heavily for a 3rd group game and ending up 2nd place in their group, which would throw these whole brackets out of whack.   I think the main interesting thing from the brackets, is that if you're only caring about 'likely' group winners, you have France/Spain/Germany/Belgium/Netherlands (who I'm not convinced top group F, that group seems v exciting to me), all on one side of the bracket. Albeit the other side is England/Brazil/Arg/Portugal, but the European giants do seem weighted towards one half.   'best 3rd place' is very hard to call, I suspect there might be 1 or 2 who get 6 points (tied with 2nd) but are there on goal difference/head to head, while others could be on 3 or even 2 points. I also don't actually know if a bunch of these middle-Eastern teams who I've predicted to finish bottom are that bad. I think the ConCaCaf lot who've qualified partially by virtue of the 3 strongest teams all being hosts probably are 0-1 point teams mostly, but I wonder if there's some near-Asian teams I'm underestimating.   I'm honestly really excited though.
    • Early Bird tickets at €245 if you’ve been this year.
    • €225 plus fees (as a 2026 ticketholder and with Revolut) is a crazy good deal.
    • I don't think PJ has as much broad appeal in the UK as GNR has. Rock listeners will know Alive and Jeremy so on, but which songs would a random person off the street know? With GNR you have Welcome To The Jungle, Sweet Child O Mine and Paradise City to name a few.
