That is very interesting. Suggests to me that if/when the call comes, fee depending, it could well happen.

Let's face it - Noel will ultimately still call the shots and if he positions it to Liam as righting some of the past wrongs there, I can't see Liam saying no.

Liam likes to talk, there is no way if continuing Oasis for another yesr includes a stop at Glastonbury that it doesn't happen. He's got to stand on stage for a couple of hours one night.

He also surely can't hate the pyramid stage that much if played there in 2019.

I think they'll do it tbh. Main sticking point would be cash and they'll both be aware of how little it pays..

He wouldn't know if he likes it or not before he subbed it last time, it's all change a lot that field bit since 2004.

While I agree..

It doesn't necessarily have to be 2027. If they want to milk the reunion further, they can keep the "Pyramid Stage Redemption" card in their pocket and play it pretty much whenever they want to for example if things start to slow down. As long as they give GFL sufficient notice, then they can basically name their year.

I tend to go with the others that its probably 2027 or nothing.

Would be curious to see who they tap as support. Would hope they don't default back to Ashcroft - understand the logic, but it's just a bit bereft of inspiration.

Miles Kane was rumoured in papers so maybe they're going slightly more contemporary this time.

Not sure the Oasis crowd want contemporary? Charlatans or Kasabian banging out hits for 45 minutes is perfect warm-up.

The Charlatans 'banging out hits for 45 mins'... blimey! Four minutes tops.

Can see Miles Kane opening after he's given Villanelle a leg up. Kasabian not a bad shout for main support. Will be Courteeners IMO, if not Ashcroft again.

Have the vinyl on order and that is a nice bonus given I was at the Wembley gig it was recorded at. I can't see any mention of a side b on the 7" anywhere so assume it will be blank.

Exactly the same, I was there that night too and it was my highlight song of the night!!

Enjoyed listening back to that - captures the moment well, particularly the extraordinary crowd noise that struck me at the time. Would have preferred Slide Away but a nice addition to the Help LP.PXL_20260307_184524796.thumb.jpg.9752fb0b0ac14b4df46727eeaa6693ed.jpg

Excellent! Mine has been delayed but should arrive in the next couple of days! I listened on Spotify and I agree, it captures the crowd so well, especially in Noel's bit

Turns out I did. Those 10 nights might well cover June then if someone has been given info on June being the residency.

I still hope they find time to perform at Glastonbury.

April fools.

I can't be alone in disliking April Fools Day, am I? Telling what's real and what isn't online is a pain in the arse as is with disinformation, deep fakes, AI bullshit and all the rest of it without one day where there's intentional deception for the lolz.
