Interesting as I heard it was going to be this year certainly for the Ethihad

Was told last year there was definitely nothing in 2026.

My information hasn’t come from inside the org, more from an very senior external stakeholder would would be informed at this point

Fancy Celtic, if that happens, but that ain't happening without a hotel.

 

If all this transpires (I've heard nothing)? I really wouldn't rule out Glastonbury.

Was told last year from a source within Oasis. Had it backed up last week from a Scottish promoter. Interestingly, I never said to second source I have heard so and so, is this true. They have actually said to me about the venues, dates (well 2027) and when the announcement will be - which makes me almost 100% confident of this info now.

So it's Etihad and Celtic Park? Assuming other stuff in London too and mainland Europe. And Glasto 👀

Plenty hotels in Glasgow mate. Could even walk to Celtic Park from town. Would take around 30 mins. The closest one to the ground would be Premier Inn Glasgow (Cambuslang/M74, J2A), but it's quite small. If I hear of any dates before the actual announcement, I'll give a heads up in here and you can maybe pre-book this.

Obviously know there's plenty of hotels but when dates get out - we all know what happens

Interesting. I am surprised that there are people with such information. And what about Ireland, would Slane Castle be suitable? I also wonder if they will be performing at Wembley again or will it be Knebworth?

Sorry, saying a list was probably the wrong term to use.

 

Only info I was given was 10 nights at the Etihad and I’m fairly sure it was 5 in Glasgow and 5 in Cardiff. I doubt they’ll only do those 3 venues though so I’m sure someone somewhere will some more concrete info soon.

Have said previously I don’t want to reveal anyone’s job title, as it puts them at risk (and me for getting anymore future goss 😀) - but happy to say the confirmation of a Glasgow gig came from a reliable Scottish promoter.

I reckon that might be it for the UK.

 

They have to do Europe this time. Be hell on if not. Bearing that in mind, 20 UK dates is probably about right, spread across Scotland, England and Wales.

I'm wondering if they're going to do 20 shows in the UK, will there still be room for Europe? Oasis used to start their tour from spring to late autumn. Perhaps something similar will happen now, they may well start their tour in continental Europe and reach the UK by the summer. I still hope that they will hold concerts at Knebworth, as I constantly see various rumors about it. Plus, the request is large. Another question is whether they will limit themselves to the UK and Europe this time, whether they will tour in the USA, South America and Asia. I dare say that the new tour

They can start in may (with Cardiff) and play Celtic Park and the Etihad right after the end of the football season. With five gigs in Cardiff and Glasgow they would stay there for about ten days.
