When the one way system is in place Avalon is basically part of the SE corner so I don't think it'd be too hard to keep them as stand byes and have more of a thing in Avalon. Only issue is it can't run until 6am.
Well, they are all defined as headliners. They have two headliners for each big stage since it's 3 days. And even most of their second stage headliners would qualify as small headliners for Sziget. I was there in 2023 and these acts easily had 40-50k people on them and they would likely headline Sziget:
Prodigy, Black Keys, QotSA (questionable for me but ppl here pitched them as headliner), Lizzo.
Sam Smith and Liam Gallagher were also just "subs" in terms of Sziget and they actually headlined Sziget.
So yeah I would say most who are highlightes as headliner at MadCool potentially qualify for small Sziget headline or at least co-headlne.
(In fairness, headliner quality has gone down since 2023 at MC)
Trying to picture the junction layout down there, but is it viable to shift the exit point for the SE Corner slightly down the railway track so that RL / DD are outside it? I know I'd be far more likely to pop in there if it didn't mean going through the one way system
I think a 21 year old not being mad into REM is pretty legit tbf, just as I'd expect the majority of 21 year old not to be into the National... 🙂
Well they weren't Legends, they were headliners and Rod is definitely up there with Lionel Richie, Kenny Rogers, Cat Stevens and Tom Jones. Maybe not Dolly, but he is absolutely on par for the Legend slot.
