Pretty certain our big 3 is..

Kasabian | Post Malone | Foo Fighters

Very 2017 feel to that one. Get Tyler the Creator in there and I'd buy that ticket all day every day.

I can't see past Hozier being on Radio 1, there is no way he'd be a bigger draw than Jorga Smith is, and she got R1.

Kaiser Cheifs in that Wombats spot on R1 too?

I get what everyone says about Chappel Roan, and in 10 years when she is the size of Taylor Swift, the next generation may look at her headlining and think that was an insane booking, and be eager to book their first time ... but I can't see it, she doesn't have a full headline performance that British 17-20 year olds will be screaming along to.

Maybe a top album though, I mean, we got Megan the Stallion based on bloody WAP.

Tyler is a main headliner now. He isn’t playing below anyone.

Don’t think we’re getting Foos.

Kaiser Chiefs can get in the bin. I could see The Vaccines in that slot, however.

You could not be more wrong about Chappell Roan. 17-20 year old will be losing their heads at her playing.

She’s massive with 16 year olds too (I know from work).

Her Lollapalooza crowd is exactly what her crowd will be like here. Massive pop stars like that have popularity that translates across the Atlantic.

I'm pretty certain it's wrong. Like the others have said Chappell Roan screams a booking for the 16-19 years old brigade.

Tbf I went for a day trip and saw Kasabian at R&L in 2017. So would have a symmetry in a way.

No. Already have a Leeds gig in May with Razorlight, The Cribs, The Coral, We Are Scientists, Hot Wax and Ellur in a proper 2000s revival bill.

Linkin Park won’t be a last minute addition. I’m sure they’ve had everything plotted out for a while.

There's talk this reunion of theirs has been in the works for quite a while without the public declaration it was set to be a thing, so yeah, I can imagine this masterplan has been done in advance.

Presumably when Download announces their line up on Tuesday, that'll get us closer to knowing what we're about to be told.

Haha, I'll be amazed if Glastonbury have gone and got Paramore over Reading....not so surprised though.

Where’s the Paramore info come from? I really hope they’re at Glasto. A massive slot there headlining Other or subbing Pyramid would be grey for them and makes a tonne of sense.

Someone on discord but I've no idea how much of it is made up, reliable, joke. The guy did used to be on here an while I remember him I don't remember how much he knew. The fact someone over there seemingly said mcfcok knows nothing lol.

Glasto only? Because I really want to see them but that would be even more of a pain in the arse to get tickets for than their recent stint here supporting the Swift.

I wouldn't take notice of it, just some lad making stuff things up on discord hence my reply above to Andre was I'm not sure how reliable it is.

But take from this that unless the few main people most on there most of it I garbage or being knobheads lol.

Fair enough.

Maybe it's just our impatience to know everything before people are ready to declare it. I know I feel it.

I'll be honest no one I know off of these boards as festival goers cares. They'll just wait to hear. One of my mates that's not been for years was the only oen to message.

Maybe I'm just impatient because I just want to throw cash at something that gets my fancy for 2025.

I just think it's a case of if you use these forums you get involved and more impatient. I think we can all get a bot obsessed on here. I wish sometimes I never made a big thing of coming in when I found it as I'm forever in long drags waiting lol....which then adds to disappointments a lot haha. Before efests I used to check virtual festivals and consequences of sound like once every two weeks.

Well we're music fans and festival fans, this is an annual event which kicks off the 8 or 9 month countdown where we can really get into some new artists and get excited to go.

A little like Christmas as a kid, when the new Argos catalog came out, or you went to Toys R Us and sampled all the bikes, before settling on one and watching your parents put it away for the big day. Up until that point it's just fantasy, and then when you get an idea of what your actually getting, then the excitement begins.

I really hope it's a good lineup this year. I want to take my wife and actually let our hairs down this time, it's the first time in 4 festivals she won't be pregnant or have a couple month old that we can't leave for a weekend. We did 2021 and she was even pregnant for that so it meant me drinking alone or not at all.

The lead up to festival lineups on here is my favourite, it becomes a bit of an echo chamber in here sometimes yes but I appreciate having a community of people to get excited about new music with. Plus most the time by announcement day we seem to have a good idea who its going to be. Now we just wait to see whats in store for 2025...

Is there much info on BMTH or more just guesses / wishful thinking?

Been stalking the thread over the weekend and I'm torn; on one hand I love them, think they deserve the main headline slot after 2022, would sell a decent amount of day tickets and there isn't many big rock alternatives they could be looking at.

On the other hand, I feel like they are very different to other names mentioned and can't see many of the crowd who aren't fans going to watch over whoever is on Chevron / R1
