I'm a supervisor on Gate C every year and you can't do peak times effectively with 10 people - that's a ridiculous suggestion. I'd struggle to cover all the positions in the middle of the night with that number of stewards.
Asides from that, less stewards means less chance of getting a place so I'm not sure why you'd want that?
Congratulations to all who got places today! I hope to see you in June 🙂
i always thought shikari subbing would be craziness.
they will be 3rd down - its their highest spot and they were considered 4th down in 2014 due to the 2 headliners
Ok, I’ve listened to everything on the lineup so far. To be honest, I pretty much like everything.
The only ones I just can’t get on with are While She Sleeps, Jacob Collier, Raye and Gracie Abrahams. And I have a feeling that those artist are going to get on just fine without my support.
I love discovering new (or at least new to me) artists at festivals, so I’ve been pleased to come across Nia Archives, Alessi Rose, Sylvia Kreusch, Purple Disco Machine and Dasha. I probably wouldn’t have listened to any of these if they weren’t playing RW.
I usually go to End of the Road every year, so it’s good to try something different, I think.
Am really surprised by this thread. Have only seen them once, at Blue Dot 2019, but they were absolutely excellent. Wasn't a die-hard fan (wrong age bracket) but went for the reputation, stayed for the show. Great music, great visuals. Though possibly helped they had their visuals projected onto a giant space telescope adjacent to the stage.
