The Great Estate 2023

We went last year and stayed in our camper van.  My memories: LONG walk from camper van area to the festival site. Staid crowd with very few folk mangled/wasted/raving (sadly).More like Latitude than Boomtown! Lots of families and felt like the kind of place you could let your kids run free without worrying. I reckon it could be a bit boring by day 2 or 3 as needs more venues and late night stuff to make me consider going again. Good enough if you have kids though.

Hey, we are going this year and staying in the campervan field. We want to put a tent up next to our van but I've just read this isn't allowed. Did you notice last year if anyone else had done this? Or were people being asked to take them down?

Cheers.

What time does everyone get there? I see the site opens at 10am Friday so I'm planning to get there roughly then. I'm coming from the north on the A30 with a caravan, I assume it will be queued at the site, how bad are the queues normally?
