They only donate the cash from physical sales?

Still a certain subset of people who like them that buy cd's I guess. Probably lots of stocking stuffers and nobody would dare return it due to the charity aspect.

Just get the fucking Wiggles for Legends.

Ah my mistake, misread what you said. No is the answer though - they only have made christmas songs i think

That's what I assumed in fairness. I don't think I'd ever heard of them outside the Christmas holiday season period, which is probably allied to the fact I don't listen to radio so am probably even more out of the loop with it.

Errrr...them only donating profits from physical sales, no other revenue including the production and marketing which their own company is invoicing for, keeping all streaming and PRS revenue and using the good name of the Trussel Trust to keep their gurning faces in the public eye to sell sausage roll merchandise, get Gregg's sponsorship deal, all the while voting Tory and being part of the reason why food banks are needed. The cheeky, shameless bustards. There's every fucking reason to be annoyed.

Using charity to gain publicity. Shameful.

An act well past their sell by date with increasingly dodgy vocals? She seems popular enough.

Oh it’s one that would definitely be in the category of could be great or could be terrible but she has a full set of songs that millions of people know and she is exceptionally professional so she would definitely turn up on time.

Will probably tweak a bit once Coachella drops. Thinking the below at the moment:

Friday

Pyramid: Arctic Monkeys // Lizzo // Royal Blood

Other: Sam Smith // Rosalia // Becky Hill

Saturday

Pyramid: Guns N’ Roses // Doja Cat // BLACKPINK

Other: Halsey // Paolo Nutini // Steve Lacy

Sunday

Pyramid: Elton John // Queens of the Stone Age // Lil Nas X // Pulp

Other: The Prodigy // The Black Keys // Father John Misty

Maybe QOTSA and Black Keys will clash but I don't think Rosalia and Lizzo will.

Lizzo against artic monkeys makes all the sense in the world to me

They won’t necessarily clash. Third down other stage tends to clash with the pyramid sub.

    • The weather we have had whee i am in the last week or so has been.....  All the weather types in random order, wildly changing hour by hour.  Yesterday we had some beautiful semi warm sunshine - and also torrential downpours...   In summary - inconsistent
    • Warmduscher at ATN a couple of years back wins that one for me (or Christy Moore at Feile 92!). It wasn’t cold or windy though, so less unpleasant than it might have been. Hopefully it’ll stay dry for Nick Cave tomorrow!
    • Yeah.   Revisit in 2 weeks, then 👀
    • Even with the recent heavy showers it's too early to tell what site conditions would have been like.  The very hot spell would have certainly dried things up considerably, and rain since then has been equalled by a stiff breeze so, without the benefit of actually walking the site, I'd guess ground conditions at present are about perfect.   If we had a festival to look forward to I think the weather watchers would have been at the "all to play for" stage at present.
