Well if Billie didnt have Finneas where do you think she wouldve ended up. Would be interesting to see her make a whole album without her brother and see how it turns out. Itll sell, but will it be good. And Ask maya's dad cause he has left her be as much as possible. Theyve talked about that stuff in interviews. Denzel Washington has been the same with John David and look where he got. Musician kids are just a diff thing cause you cant really hide who they are vs actor ones. Like half the guns n roses kids started a band together with scott weilands son who sounds just like him and its the same dirty rock stuff. Wolfgang Van Halen cannot escape his fathers shadow and luckily doesnt care cause he does what he wants.

She'd just get some acclaimed producer in - would be interesting to see what happens actually

K Pop obviously. Who is stalking Peter Kay, nobody. Nobody gonna jump over the glasto walls to see Peter, but they would for Blackpink

K pop fans are crazier but i'd love to see BTS shift the 1.2 million tickets Kay did last time he toured. At their prices they couldn't do even half that and either at kay prices i'm not sure they could get particularly close.

The might of K-Pop pales into insignificance when placed next to a fat lad from Bolton who talks about remembering Ceefax.

or even a fat lad from stoke who's songs are popular for funerals.

I hadn't even considered Capaldi - new album / tour on the way. Surely not a headliner just yet but sub on the Pyramid?

Which music press is this?

The UK and US.

I mean you had the British press successfully convincing thousands of people to listen to The Kooks and The Fratellis 15 years ago. Now they're telling people that cheesy pop music has artistic merit, and people are agreeing.

NME do it a lot. Always push who they think is gonna be the next big indie darling in the hopes they're right.

Palma violets spring to mind who for about a month were pushed as the next libertines then disappeared.

Loved Palma Violets. That first album is still full of bangers. They're still going in a couple forms now, the lead singer trying to make a come back. Straying slightly off topic mind you as I don't think he's in with a shot at headlining

I don't think anyone has cared what the NME thinks for a very long time.
