gfa
McFly and the sugababes went down very well this year (along with Mel C's rammed dj set), so i ask who do people think will be booked next year (if anyone) for the big pop acts on a random small stage slot? I'd like All Saints personally!

NorthernSoul52
Goes without saying, but if they got a second crack at a reunion run again - they appear to be off if not down for the count right now, I think - then Busted would be a hoot. That being said, wouldn't mind Charlie Simpson digging out that first Fightstar record again.
faymondo
Not sure they would be classed as "pop" but I would love to see The Christians perform in the acoustic tent.

Could be a good shout that. The Saw Doctors would be another Acoustic great.

CaledonianGonzo
Erasure have the bangers to secure either a decent slot on El Pointo or a late one on West Holts.

Erasure would be a dream fourth down on the Pyramid on a Saturday afternoon - effectively the same time as the Legends slot, and with enough singalong hits to go with it. Tears for Fears interesting. Could command as high as third on the Pyramid, or could be an Other opener on the Friday.

Have not seen Tears for Fears this year, but saw them on the last arena go-around before Covid-19. Was a short-ish show but absolute bliss. Simple Minds also acing it. They're at the BBC Radio 2 event this year - moved from London to Leeds, and with a weaker bill on the whole - so yet to sell out.

Was supposed to see TFF at Shepherd's Bush on Monday - their most-intimate UK for decades? - and I had to pull out due to sickness. *sob* Simple Minds are an odd one. Too big for a minor slot at Glastonbury, but not known enough by the kidz for a big one? Great musicianship these days, with none of the late-80s pomposity... LoraMaze
I heard Vengaboys everywhere I went this year, I was amazed they weren’t playing. I reckon they will next year…and they’ll draw a massive crowd
