I’ve been willing this into existence for years, if it came true I’d be so happy (particularly as I’d have zero clashes against the other headliners you’ve mentioned!!).

Not sure about J Hus for other, he's dropped off quite a bit and doesn't have the wow factor of acts like Megan. ROSALIA in that slot would be a majorly impressive booking. Think Black Keys might be higher than that too.

How has J Hus dropped off? Both of his albums did really well commercially, it’s just that he hasn’t released anything in a while so he feels a bit under the radar ATM.

Doubtful they would have 3 such poppy Pyramid headliners.

You can't have Arctics has a headliner and then pot QOTSA on a second stage. Think Homme would very quickly tell you to f off with that. They're big enough to headline

They weren't booked for the main, main stage at Reading last year before dropping out and were replaced by Biffy. They were also in the other headline slot for 2020 / 2022? before cancelling / pulling out. No way are they getting booked to do the pyramid headline in 2023.

R+L is a co-headline. They were booked as co-headliners last year no?

That's despite no new album since 2017 and there's rumoured to be new music this year.

Other is a huge drop for them compared to other festivals. You might convince them to sub for certain bands, but I can't see them taking a other headline.

I’ve totally lost faith that YYYs will ever set foot on the farm again to be honest. They’d put on a legendary set if they headlined John Peel but they’ve dodged the festival so many times since they last played.

Tell ya what I am 100% willing in to existence for next year though - Bon Iver topping the Other. Years overdue that, and it’s happening next year. Heard it here first!

Same slot as catfish and the bottlemen and disclosure - other headline doesn't seem absurd to me. Its not really co-headliners whatever they say, everyone knows AM is bigger than BMTH by a landslide for instance.

That’d be way too weak and lead to huge overcrowding on the other stages unfortunately. Also there are the allegations hanging over Josh Homme which the fest would be advised to steer clear of.

Big cult following. Think he'd only want to headline, but don't think Glastonbury will have him as a top choice at all so it's probably not going to happen. Not in the next few years, anyway.

Yeah, I thought that was about the size of it. There's a good half-dozen, maybe even a dozen US acts who wouldn't have a hope in hell of topping the Pyramid, a huge commercial bump notwithstanding, despite being first-choice picks to top big bills stateside. Dave Matthews Band another one.

It’s been a long time since Channel Orange. And his last round of live shows were divisive at best.

Five years? Six?
