I seem to remember Michael Eavis saying 2 million apply each year for the 138k tickets in the 50th documentary. Are veterans given priority or is it a free for all?

Free for all, if you get on booking site first

I think it’s 2 million registered - they’d have no way of knowing who was applying. But yeah it’s bloody difficult and even if only a quarter of those try, the odds are not in your favour. 
 

And no loyalty bonus sadly 🙂

There never should be a loyalty bonus, it would be full of 50 and 60 year old, and I say that as someone in their 50's

Pretty low in terms of pure numbers trying vs tickets available, but if you keep your eyes on here there will be great tips in the lead up to maximise your chances. Most on here end with tickets each year, whether it’s the initial or the resale.

Yep we did say it was a shame it was going to look so good on tv! 
 

Only encouraging thing was that a lot of the older people I know who watched it weren’t as keen on the line up. Although a lot of people my age were saying it looked great.

The only absolute “oh my god if I miss that I will die” headliner is Taylor. My plan next year is to prioritise 2 things.

Glastonbury AND a ticket to Taylor’s own tour. Hopefully this will minimise any damage felt if I miss her at Glastonbury.

Also I think with tiktok now being a huge thing unlike at the last festival all the fun night stuff will reach even more people in the younger generation who wouldn't have considered going before 

My girlfriend who went for the first time fell in love with it immediately and will have a lot of friends who will want to go next year who didn't really know what it was about before
