Doing Shangri-La Solo

Long time lurker, first time poster. So I’ve been going to Glastonbury since I was very young, but as I’ve got older and older more and more of my friends/family have stopped going for various of reasons, the group I’m going with this year are not into the late night scene. It’s been a while since I’ve been to SE corner, maybe six years and I’ve always been hesitated returning due to a bad experience one of my friends had, however this year, while still in my twenties I want to do some of the late night stuff, past few years I just go to the theatre and circus field. There are a few acts I want to see in the SE corner but I will be going solo and was just wondering can I still have a good time there if I am by myself and don’t know anyone around me.

First year I went I was by myself most of the time. Loved it. I prefer it when it starts to die down a bit

Yes is the answer to this. Usually lose my friends at some point and end up solo in Shangri La. Rocket lounge in particular is easy to meet people. I'll see you there

Going solo myself this year, first time, think it be easy to get in and out, prob head down after the chems. Awww yeah!

I usually come with people who won't stay up past 1/2am so usually down there on my tod, you'll be absolutely fine!

I think you’d be absolutely fine. Have fun! In my experience you’ll rarely find a friendlier crowd so you won’t be on your own for long (and if any problems - hopefully not- don’t be afraid to ask for help)
