Hopefully won't be long before you can drop off at 1 lock up and collect at another.
Mizydoscape
My husband's mum had her empty tent stolen in 2015. We took it on the Weds and set it up so she could camp near us as she was arriving on the Thurs, and went out for the day. Came back to find it completely gone and other people pitched in the spot (don't think they were the guilty party). The girls behind us also had their tent stolen while they went back to the car for their second run. So it does happen but I imagine it's really rare. leath02
Question going around my group atm - Do you think theft is more likely in the middle of the campsite, or camped next to a path? I can personally see arguments for both, but if I was a thief, I would want the cover of other tents?

We had to buy her a new tent which hasn't been stolen since and she'll be bringing it again this year.

I imagine it's easier to resell stolen phones or cash or abuse stolen bank cards than it is to turn a whole tent (minus the pegs) into cash! You'll all be fine 🙂 That's why I always fill the tent pockets with broken glass, poisonous spiders and dogshit.
