Sticklinch Car Parking - best route in?

Hi,

 

We are staying locally (near Chilcompton) on Tuesday night, grabbing breakfast and then will head down to Pilton around 10 am on Wednesday morning to Sticklinch camping. 
What is the best route in to the east of the site? If the festival wasn’t on you would go Shepton, Cannards Grave and then the A361 east through Pilton, but is that restricted now?

The alternative is to go through Wells then Glastonbury for the A361 west which is on the right side for the Sticklinch car park?

So looking forward to next week!

Usually you get nearby and you just start following the signs (worthy view was like that so I’m guessing sticklinch will be the same)

No real options. Reckon you have to follow the signs or you will end up going the wrong way down a narrow country lane.  That’s always been the deal with WV

A361 from West ie from Glastonbury direction is what you need.  A361 from East to West through Pilton village will be closed unless you have village/crew/ special passes.

This 👆 And you don’t want to try to cut through to A361 from East Pennard on A37, it’s a rabbit warren around there at the best of times!
