Gate C overnight queue on Tuesday

We have a campervan ticket but I will be joining my friends as usual at Gate B on Tuesday evening to queue overnight and hopefully get a spot on Big Ground.

my other half is planning to go into the site through Gate C and head over to the park stage side of the site to meet up with friends and pitch his tent.

my question is, do people queue overnight at gate C?

On the Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, yes they do. Seen worse queues, but it generally snakes up the left side of the hill of death (if you’re looking at the fest with the CV fields behind you).

My understanding (per previous years) is that the queue that forms on the HoD (Slope of Mild Inconvenience) on Tuesday night is made up exclusively of people that have entered the CV Fields on Tuesday... Hence the small numbers.

The people in car parks come through the CV fields but are not generally allowed through until around 7am on Wednesday at which point the queue becomes much bigger.
