I bloody love Star Wars.

On at 22:30 on Thursday - HMS Sweet Charity

The name intrigued me enough to google them but not a lot came up.  A song by someone called "Stinkmitt", some old soundcloud and a Discogs release from 2003.

Can anyone point me in the direction of any info about this act/artist/DJ/whatever?  If not are we looking at an alias of a bigger name perhaps?

That google search brings up some interesting results. 
 

There does seem to be an artist by that name linked to a label called Trooper Tunes but as you say it was back in 2003/4 so who knows if it’s the same one.

Haha yeah.  Adding the word "music" seems to do very little to help.  Adding "Glastonbury" points to the lineup page and now bizarrely this thread.  Although this article also reports that they played in 2019 on HMS Sweet Charity.

I'm guessing it's just a random no name DJ but it's surprising for them to have no internet presence whatsoever.  Also 22:30 on Thursday is a relatively prime slot, albeit on a small stage.

SoundCloud have a few people by that name listed but with few followers, might be worth checking out mixcloud to see if you can find them

Probably obvious but add quote marks around the search “Jabba the Slut” it does help to keep the worst of the internet at bay.

Found this on facebook.  The link is dead. Looks like ‘Jabba The Slut’ is put on by the Sweet Charity DJs which I asssume are the folks who run that stage.  Mystery solved?

Were deffo on the line up last year

Was getting Italo Disco vibes from Sweet Charity last year so I'd imagine this would be a very fun set just honestly nothing really to go off

I'd recommend Zonzo and Sonido Tupinamba if you're hanging around there

Stinkmitt is a Canadian band. You can tell because the song is registered with SOCAN, the Canadian music rights org. Stinkmitt is based in Toronto.
