danssol
My wife has a blue badge because of pain causing mobility issues. We got our tickets in the resale, procrastinated and missed the boat for the accessible parking. We will be looking to use gate D so the orange route is easiest option. If we wave the blue badge at the stewards and ask to be sent to the orange side. Would this be facilitated or would out more than their job is worth. Thanks
Glast0baby
Depends on if the steward is feeling nice. I would hope you wouldn't end up in pink, but there is nothing officially to stop it happening. The only disabled parking is that via the access. There arent blue badge parking spots too. Fingers crossed for you! If you do end far out, just take it easy and make sure you have a trolley to assist with your gear. Take a camping chair and have regular breaks.
parsonjack
I'd very much hope stewards will help you out as you need. Make sure you approach Pilton on A361 from Glastonbury town direction to ensure Orange is available to you though 👍
sedra
Have you tried contacting Accessibility for yellow parking or they could sort out forward parking in the other sections?
Glast0baby
I don't know if you have been to Glastonbury before. Just thought I'd mention that the walk from the car to camping is a mere fraction of the walking you'll do over the 4-5 days at the festival. The site is huge and getting around can be a real physical challenge, especially if muddy. Just want to make sure you are aware what you are getting into if the initial walk is already a concern (I presume you'll be carrying all the stuff and your wife just walks)? Yeah but because we got the ticket in the resale and left it late we've missed out. Our fault but if we can get a near as possible then that's the next best option. But I've contacted accessibility again to see if they can tip off the parking team. However, I imagine they'll be a wee bit busy 😀

This'll be the 11th time and very different. We are sort of prepared for the day to day stuff. We just won't be in any hurry. I will be the pack horse with the trolley.

Hope you have a great time and get some parking sorted!
