How to get to the festival on a Tuesday (for a nurse volunteer)

My friend is volunteering as an A&E nurse at Glastonbury and isn't sure how to get to the site. Unlike other volunteers, there's apparently no official transport provided.

Does anyone know how she can get onto the site? She's based in London, so I imagine a train to Castle Cary, but what then?

Appreciate any advice!

By Tuesday there will be a fairly regular shuttle from Castle Cary to the site. I think you usually have to show credentials that say you're working but she'll have them so should be fine!

This. That's what I'll be doing on the Tuesday!

The only thing to add to the above is that the shuttle bus from Castle Cary arrives at Gate A. I'm not certain if this is still the current situation, but FMS used to camp outside Gate B. So a couple hopefully minor things to check -

Check that she can be accredited at Gate A. Some crews are restricted to a specific Gate, some ask that you nominate a Gate in advance, and some it doesn't matter. Not sure how FMS handle it.

Check that she's ok carrying her stuff from Gate A to Gate B. If she's accredited at Gate A, then this isn't too big a deal especially as the site will be largely empty and she should be able to use the (staff only) route via the Farmhouse. If she has to go to Gate B to get her wristband, then it's a huge problem as there's no sane route between the two outside the fence.
