Steve the smart
Hi everyone, Never been to a festival before & wanted to know if you can take anything into the festival, like food or drinks? obviously no glass, but plastic bottles of beer or soft drinks? Many thanks, Steve & sally!

Many thanks, Steve & sally! Any food is allowed in - I don't think they have an alcohol limit so you can bring as many cans / decanted spirits as you like. Someone might be able to confirm this or tweet at them, i can't find anything about it on their website and it was fine a few years ago. You cannot take the cans into the arena (the campsite is separate from the music, for bar sale purposes) however you can get a bit inventive and smuggle a few in 🙂. They also have a co-op onsite which stocks alcohol at a slight markup (about £6 for 4 cans of beer/cider, so not dreadful) and also fresh food, meal deals, burgers/hotdogs + bbq equipment etc. Have a great festival! 🙂
Tommy101
Welcome! The Co op can be a decent option; it might be a bit more expensive than a normal supermarket but it will lighten the amount you have to carry onto site until you set up the tent (least favourite part of the festival for me).
