I remember their manager saying fingers crossed for Glastonbury 2022 in January, has there been any update on this?

Call me mad but reading between the lines of when they said “we feel like we are ready to headline”, EE’s reaction was (I’m my interpretation) “thanks, but we (the festival) decide who to invite, not the bands”

There was a rumour that they might be doing a secret set one day to launch their new album, but we haven’t heard any more than that. They seem like a good candidate for a secret set slot tbf what with their history of the festival, but their touring schedule is pretty slim so far so who knows how likely it is.

Tbh a secret set would be great. Only 45-60 minutes so you've only got about 30 minutes of filler before you get to:

Somebody else/It's not living/the sound/girls/Chocolate🤣

I'm with you...they are horrendous. Do have a large number of fans though.
