Pretty sure NYC Downlow will cater for drag. Unsure where else on site, maybe theatre and circus.

I feel like I saw some drag performers in the unfairgrounds last time??

I'm honestly surprised there isn't a dedicated drag tent, seems like the sort of thing Glastonbury would champion.

Me too to be fair. Especially with the popularity of Ru Paul etc. What’s not to like.

Yeah, it’d go down a treat!

Loads of variety and a whole genre of entertainment that's being ignored. I want to see death drops on a dairy farm!

Gender blackface? I’d hope they’re not supportive

there’s been a lot of debate on whether drag is degrading to women, but even to the extent that is true, its impact on perceptions of women has been so negligible that the comparison does more to trivialise blackface.

It also seems somewhat hateful against something that gives so many people a means of self-expression and empowerment. I don’t think that was ever the case for blackface.

But as a queen i’m willing to accept I’m biased to some extent…

That seems like a crass expression created to offend everyone. Please god, let's not have another of those blooming rabbit hole discussions this week.

Her very first argument that both drag and black face are carried out by powerful and privileged people is nonsense.

That's as far as I got too.

What a load of old bollocks.
