Do the see tickets coaches have toilets ? I’d imagine mostly not … I know I’m not far away but I’m wondering if so can have a few pre drinks in the pub

Think the info says they can't guarantee loos if it's a short journey. I suppose between see and national express all the coaches in the country are requisitioned for glasto so you'll just end up with whatever they've got.

Does anyone who’s taken the Taunton coach know how long it takes from bus stop to the gate? We’re getting the 9:15 coach and are weighing up our camping options.

Depends how slow the gate is outside, which depends when you (and everyone else) are coming.

Here's some walking times once you're through the gate...

Traffic free … no more than an hour … but who knows what effect the strikes might have … edit that’s for the journey only

Some do - though we had four pints, friends also had some discrete canned g and t's - when they tried the door of the toilet it was locked.

Wasn't looking to be a comfortable journey - luckily the driver took a break after an hour or so.

Depends on traffic. Did the same trip in 2017 and got to Gate A in an hour. Breezed through. Pint in hand by midday.

Nice, that would be ideal.

Great info, cheers, that walking distance will be good for the first timers in our group.

For the first time I am travelling on the See coach from Birmingham. My coach is 12:15 on Wednesday so I think my train to Birmingham should be OK. The email says coach departs from "RAILWAY BRIDGE BUS STOPS, HILL STREET, B5 4AH" Google streetview shows this postcode as on Hill Street near to The Railway pub and Grosvenor Casinos. At this point Hill Street looks to be a quite narrow road with double yellow lines. Can anyone confirm this is the correct location?

Reading the forums it seems that in past years Birmingham departures have been from near The Hippodrome

Thanks

Alan

Yeah in 19 they were meant to be Hill street but got moved a few days before due to roadworks to by the hippodrome.

So looks like they are back to being at the top of Hill Street this time, which is handy for new street, I’m sure they’ll be some obvious Glasto go’ers buzzing around the vicinity!

Agreed, I think even for us oldies I think @moogster has done a sterling job and has not (yet) been adequately praised 😊

Yeah let's wait if these times work outside of my excel sheet 🙂.  Cue to me checking my watch departing stage X to stage Y all through the week end and randomly deciding to try the fast time option.
