We went about half way through the set (skipping stages to cram stuff in) and got to a decent position easily enough. Great set and Jacqui replied to me on Twitter once saying it was an amazing atmosphere. I think their stock has risen since then and I am expecting it to be busier. I will be heading up handy for a decent speck if the lineup allows it.

During ELO. I was in the empty acoustic tent with some whiskey listening to that lot.

Whats the likelihood they'll play somewhere else? They did a couple of songs in BBC Introducing last time but it was one of the secret sets announced at the last minute. Unless someone pulls out on a day or something like that I can't see them doing another one. 7 minutes ago, Quark said: Actually some stuff on there I'm tempted by, trying not to just completely rule it out as I usually end up doing. Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott, Hothouse Flowers, Chris Difford, Fishermans Friends all catching my eye. Gutted that Suzanne Vega is on Sunday night, she's great live but that's not how I see my Sunday night ending! Quite fancy checking out The Mariachis as well, that could be a giggle 😄 I actually finished my Glastonbury one year with Alison Moyet into Suzanne Vega and it was bloody great. Trouble for me with this line up is the stuff I love I have seen multiple times and will clash with others so I suspect they will lose out which is disappointing as I always like a trip to the acoustic tent. Not familiar with a lot of the lower down acts though so will add them to the playlist and hopefully someone will catch my ear.

Neville Street
Friday night with a few beers, can’t wait. Saturday evening could be a snag. Might skip Waterboys, saw them in Bath recently. Might attempt both, as per earlier comments elsewhere. Need to be somewhere in Pyramid Field for Live and Let Die and the rest of the end of McCartney

LinvoyPrimus
Friday headline clashes starting to look absolutely brutal. Really hoping Paul & Jacqui show up early on a bigger stage at some point.
FuzzyDunlop
Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott / Primal Scream. That's my friday. Gone from nothing... to a clash. Classic Glastonbury.

oakdown
Embarrassed to say the only name on there I might make the trek up for is Scouting for Girls... Between them/McFly/Sugababes and Hoosiers the fest is really encouraging me to relive my teens.

Beerqueen
Listening to a few now and liking the sound of 49th and Main but they have a very different sound to the rest so far - not your typical Acoustic band.
