Album of the Month - March 22

1. Nilufer Yanya - Painless
2. The Weather Station - How Is It That I Should Look at the Stars
3. Charli XCX - Crash

Pretty quiet month for me overall after a packed February. Only other new one I listened to was Alex Cameron which I couldn't get into at all unfortunately. Not hugely fussed by my 2 and 3 here but Nilufer Yanya the clear winner for me, even if she won't be troubling my end of year list.

1. Yumi Zouma - Present Tense

2. CMAT - If My Wife New I’d Be Dead

3. The Mysterines - Reeling

Discovered CMAT recently, that's a great record. I know that doesn't really contribute to the thread but wanted to compliment CMAT so,

CMAT - If my wife new I'd be dead

Sugaray Rayford - In too deep

MICHELLE - After dinner we talk dream

Think I'm the same as you. Not listened to anything else new this month, but loving the Mysterines album

To be fair, I've not exactly tried hard this month and that is the only new release I've bought but yeah, it's a good 'un.

Honourable Mention to Charlotte Adigery & Bolis Pupul - Topical Dancer

Four great albums.

1. Mattiel - Georgia Gothic

2. Aldous Harding - Warm Chris

3. Boo Radleys - Keep on with falling

Mysterines & Placebo may have been in with a shout, but I haven't listened to much in March due to feeling like shit with covid.

1. Ho99o9 -SKIN

2, RHCP- Unlimited Love

3, PUP- The unravelling of Pup the band

Was close between Mysterines and Pup but I marginally listened to Pup more.

Not the best Chilis album by a far stretch but I’ve listened to it quite a bit so I must like it haha. It’s nowhere near as bad as some have made out.

Was going to put Carpenter Brut in second place as that’s all I’ve listened to for the last few days but just realised that it was released on April 1st. Can’t see any April albums pushing that out of my top three to be honest.

FYI RHCP was an April release so you can put The Mysterines in 3rd place 👍
