The gig at tHe Bridge Theatre was rather special. only managed to see the

m three times myself and one of those was just Margo and Michael (i say just, it was rather magical). Combination of them not coming over here much and at one stage i seemed to be on holiday whenever they did.

I do think they would be very special on the Garden Stage, proper goosebumps stuff as you say.

They've just announced a Royal Festival Hall date for November

I think GM has the ''bigger'' line up and I'd probably go had I not seen lots of the acts higher up the line up quite a few times/recently at EOTR. Low, Parquet Courts, Cate le Bon, Yves Tumor, BCNR, Dry Cleaning, Metronomy, Kae Tempest, Arab Strap having all played either of the last two EOTRs makes a big difference. It seems  Beverly Glenn-Copeland has been removed from the line up which is a massive loss.

EOTR having Moor Mother, Nala Sinephro, Battles, Spirit of the Beehive, Perfume Genius, Fleet Foxes and Circuit Des Yeux sways it for me

Bonnie "Prince" Billy

PJ Harvey

PJ Harvey as a headliner would be an absolute dream. Gillian Welch is surely top of the list to play the Garden Stage if she was to become available. I'd like to see the country legend Sunday afternoon on the GS slot come back in general. Maybe it was just Steve Earle played and I made up the rest 😀

Highly agree with Julian Cope and Fiona Apple. From when I saw Jonathan Richman in 2012 (Tabernacle, London), he was a bit disappointing considering the back catalogue, but still thoroughly enjoyed it.

Andrew Bird

Adam Green

Walter Martin

Patti Smith

I'd really love to see Babybird there. Consistently putting out great records.

How about The Walkmen for the ??? slot before Future Islands. They're in the country all the week before...I'm seeing them in Bristol on Sunday August 27.

Definitely been rumoured on the lineup thread/heard a few people saying it, but bit unusual sharing high end lineup acts with Green Man. Guess that could be a reason for lack of announcement, but not sure. They were meant to be a UK festival exclusive for GM when they were announced, but now down for All Points East.
