Done! Just had to wait for some of our group to decide. Half of them have decided not to go - 2 1/2 years after booking, and at such a steep cost with no lineup, and first timers as well, I can understand why they wanted to cancel. You don't fully get the magic until you go the first time, but hopefully @crazyfool1 can bag one of them!

God, don't say that on the announcement thread. You'll be burnt at the stake as a non-believer!

Cheers  …. Was talking to someone who was quite casual about booking it yesterday about balance payment and he just shrugged his shoulders and said none of them were bothering … fears about Rona was his reason although I think that was more his parents influence …so that’s another 6 back 😄

I'd love to see the data of how many are returning now vs previous years. It must be a fair chunk higher than normal. Let's hope for you guys that the (potentially) lowered interest means more tickets put back + fewer people trying in the resale.

I think that is a key element too, yes we can have a few more in the resale pot but the amount of people trying is going to determine how easy they are to get.

Hope all on here (And my friends) get sorted and I'm feeling a bit more confident now than I was a few weeks ago.

Paid on Tuesday. Confirmation email received within minutes. Whoop!

Now need to find out how to buy another Worthy View car park ticket (for friend sharing my tent who lives in different part of the country), as it wasn't an option for balance payments.....have messaged See.

you can buy them on the gate , they just charge your more. They don't want you getting there and then getting stuck, not letting you  in then turning back blocking traffic.

Paid up ..I whinged about the cost £112 in 2004 I moaned while typing frantically

but there is no way I am missing it still well worth it.

bring on June

I'm similar - but the truth is - £285 now is far easier for me than £112 was in 2004. One of the benefits of getting older and more settled.

This very true, although i do worry the youth are being priced out. I could be totally wrong , They have more expendable funds than myself .

Paid and looks like our 6 person group will now be 3...

One new baby related.

One now lives in Canada.

One just over a 'non mild' covid illness and has got the jitters on it.

I very much feel like there could be a fair few resale tickets! - fingers crossed for all those needing.

I think there will be a shit load going back in the re sale pot, people having kids , moving , being worried about COVID so many reasons, this bodes well for the ticketless.

The year of the re-sale!

I think with it being so long since the euphoria of securing a ticket and a couple years of it not being on TV with all the hype that comes with will have an impact on the slightly less hardcore (they exist, outside of this forum.. somewhere)

I'd love to know the stats of a 'regular year' re-sale pot vs what turns out to be this years

who knows? that presumes that resale interest ill be the same as normal, we've no way of knowing it'll be the same, might be vastly different. reckon lots of peeps will have other plans for their freetime, as they've not been able to do so much  for so long.

You've got me worried, how can I check this? Paid up yesterday and super excited 😁

Check your registration. All your tickets will be listed there. Find the link that says ‘edit registration’ put in your email, they will send a link by email, click on it and it will show your registration, all your tickets should be there, double check delivery address for GA tickets and CV tickets.
