At the moment we switched from the m3 to the 303 thelondon rain stopped and i can see pockets of blue as we are driving west. It's a  sign.

Looked at radar and the forcefield is holding til the mid afternoon. So hopefully that stays true nice breeze up in worthy view and the suns shining through clouds.

In North London the BBC and Met Office have a 7% and 10% chance of rain for the hour respectively and it's pissing down.

Goes to show the apps are pretty meaningless beyond broad trends with this type of showery weather. 

In other news, the thunderstorm warning area has been tweaked and Pilton is literally on the border, which I assume makes it a bit less likely that anything will turn up.

Nice cloud cover currently, seems that its gonna hold for hopefully a couple hours. Breeze slightly died down but still nice.

GFS this morning had the worst of the showers at 3pm Friday (3/4mm) but it was so localised it's likely we won't get this anyway. Otherwise just very light stuff around Thursday and Friday then clear from Sat late morning. 

 

I Think if there is any mud it will be slippery trainers until it dry outs Sat. But I can't see much worse than that.

GFS 06z: no change for tonight (lottery); perhaps marginally higher risk of Friday showers middle of day; as you were for Saturday; Sunday looks fine although perhaps brings the showers in closer to festival.

We knew it would be the worst one. We did pre-festival vehicle gates last year & it was pretty chilled but boring. The shift yesterday was proper full-on but did go quickly & apart from feeling ill mid afternoon in the heat, I really enjoyed it!

I think so except there is still risk of a bigger than normal shower (ie 2015 style)

Anybody have any theories as to why ok the EE app the JP and Park the 2 secret slots are ‘TBC’ but other gaps are ‘TBA’. Interesting they’ve used 2 different phrases, is that usual?

It’s the same band. But looks likely to be broken up by 6pm based on Met Office tracker

I've been sat at the Glastonbury sign and there has been no rain, got a friend who is next to the pyramid who said it was raining loads.

I get about 5 drops when I was walking past The Other Stage, currently sat below the Glastonbury sign and it looks very very wet northwards in the direction of Pilton
