@briddjyour contribution has, as ever, been immense. As a Friday arriver, I will wallow ignorantly without you for the final day of waiting, but thank you for all the work, and for the happy tidings about the weekend. Have a brilliant festival.

"Thousands of people heading to Glastonbury Festival, which opened on Wednesday, could bear the brunt of the conditions - with the event close to the edge of the weather warning area.."

Hmmm, so not the eye of the storm then?

Yes thank you so much!

It’s all looking so much better than I feared earlier in the week…

So so excited now

Mid-afternoon update:

- Storm warning still in place so have to watch that, BUT

- BBC now forecasting no showers after Thursday at all

-Shower risk on Thurs down to 30% on Met Office and only one hour of 40% on Friday, and one of 40% on Saturday (previously on an off all day)

In short - it's all coming up Millhouse 😎*

*Provided a 2005 style flood doesn't happen on Thursday night
