I’m pretty sure they are just fucking with the readers Of this thread. Giving with one hand and taking away with the other until we are totally under their control

Ugh the fucking teases! Still doesn't look that bad in fairness, some showers hitting us at some point on both days but it's hardly torrential rain they're predicting.

Yes, @waynewdk back in the day, the Brother's Bar would do a thing where they gave away tokens to get free pints prior to the festival.  Some years they were like poker chips, another they were bracelet things.  Sadly they stopped doing that quite a way back now.

2016 was fine apart from the obvious. The overhead conditions were not bad at all. I only remember it raining on the Sunday during ELO

Quite, 2007 was either huge lakes of liquid mud you had to wade through or horrendous thick sticky mud that was tough to walk through. On the Monday morning we got back to car at 10:30am and only got out of the car park (pushed by a tractor) at 10pm. 2016 was an absolute stroll in the park compared.

In percentage terms, will there….

A. Be any rain at all

and

B. Will we have a deluge which renders the site a mud bath

GFS 12Z rolling out. Nothing over Pilton directly but more rain spreading from the South on Thursday evening.

The midday run of the German ICON is now out.   It agrees with many of the models and brings showers and thunderstorms up from France on the Thursday night. These will be very hit and miss, we may get loads, we might get nothing. 
 

 

as with every other model now, it brings the rain in on Friday, but a little earlier than some models…so it might have actually moved through in time for Billie…

 

it then gives us a showery day on Saturday, with a significant lump of rain heading up over SE England - one to keep an eye on…

then it leaves the low sitting over the U.K. on Sunday, so another day of sunshine and showers, though more organised bands of rain can not be ruled out.

What is certain, is that it won’t be a dry Glastonbury…

I look at this GFS and it tell me it’s gonna shit down all day Sat and Sun but surely that’s not correct? Does it look a lot worse than what will actually happen?
