Yes, the met office is always the forecast I tend to rely on the most when hill walking, camping etc. usually accurate and won’t predict beyond 5 days.

Rain predictions are also meaningless at this point. If there is indeed low pressure coming then it merely creates the potential for rain. How much we simply won't know for several days.

The U.K. Met office model gives fine weather on Wednesday and Thursday, then goes a bit pear-shaped for Friday and Saturday. No run yet for Sunday, we’ll have to wait until tomorrow for that.  The rain doesn’t look torrential at least…

It's all getting a bit tedious now. We've all had a shit few years and no glasto, the being told it's gonna be an awful mud bath all weekend is grating just a tad now.

Just me yep. This whole thread is, was and always will be nonsense. I’ll post my version of nonsense as is my right. You’ll have your right to not like that and comment as you see fit and I’ll have my right to not care. Good system really. The next GFS is running - focus your attention there! Plus I’d say @briddj ‘s effort is more than decent

Monday

No Rain again, and warm enough to dry that ground right back out!!!!

 

No sign of a mud bath arrival whatsoever...
