Currently posting in here as @The Nal

🤣🤣🤣 Happens every few years in my parents road, the nearby brook overflows and floods the same houses and the twat up the hill gets his canoe out and paddles up/down the flooded road happy as Larry 😡

Best off considering it a sort of performance art😉

To answer your actual question, the forecasts seem to be firming up for a dry-ish start to the festival on Weds & Thurs. After that it’s highly uncertain with possibility of heavy rain or completely dry, or anything in between.

Given how dry the site is, would need a LOT of rain to turn it seriously muddy. That yr.no forecast of 6mm, 6mm and 21mm would be something to worry about but it’s an extreme outlier.

As said upthread, we can be confident of Weds weather by Monday and Friday weather by Weds.

Hope that helps?

And he's really playing the hits this year.

It didn't in 2016. The only times I can recall it getting that deep this century are 2005 and 2007.

I was definitely in wellies in 2016... and 2007/08/09/11/14/15/16. But I've hitherto not been a walking boots and gaiters person, which clearly I should become to avoid the dreaded wellies!

My memory is shot but wasn’t 2007 good weather until the Friday evening and then the heavens opened for the whole weekend. If it’s worse than that I’m done. Early departure looms….

Welcome to The Nal show...
