This thread is like the smoking area at Fabric.

it ain’t gonna be 11 degrees in the day in June. That’s mental.

Yup. You've got people saying it's gonna be 2007 level bad because it's raining on Sunday. You have people saying 18 degrees at a UK summer festival is almost too hot.

Genuinely can't tell whose being serious

The European model is now out to the Sunday. It has changed somewhat but Saturday would be dry and warm with a nice ridge of high pressure.  It also has the low developing on Sunday, which the GFS is keen on, but it’s further west than the GFS so by no means guaranteed to bring rain to Glasto.   Looking much more promising than the GFS.

woah...too much!

Haha - the rain and sea level pressure is what I'm focused on.  It has what appears to be an entirely dry festival (until Sunday lunch, when it stops).  Obviously a lot of this is too far away to be accurate.  However, its giving us what look like fairly good drying conditions early next week.

It really could go either way. The GFS showing an absolute sh!tshow is an outlier as far as it’s other GFS runs go, the Canadian one everyone is raving about is also an outlier as far as how sunny and hot it’s going to be compared to its other runs. At this stage no one really knows as it’s changing constantly and we may know by Tuesday at the earliest

yes, had a look and it does...it still has quite a lot of rain falling this weekend too...and there's a whole bunch of rain out to our west on the last pic on sunday...but yeah overall looks drier.
