Cherry Tree Posted April 30 Report Share Posted April 30 Just listening to Lewis McLaughlin, not heard the other artists but as a Scot who has lived and worked in the Highlands and Islands, he takes Scottish Folk in a really interesting direction, really enjoying what he is doing. There is a bit of King Creosote about what he does. Will make an effort to see him wherever they place him, got a feeling acoustic would suit him. Lots of talent. Out of the 7 acts , I could have chosen 5 to win. I agree with their winner. Personally I shall look out for English Teacher, as they were the most interesting to me.
