found home in 2009
Scotland opened up a bit later then England then closed back down again at the end of the year so didn't get to many gigs. My list would be: 1. James @ Playground Festival 2 Pongo @ Stereo Glasgow 3. Declan McKenna @ Edinburgh Academy 4. For Those I Love @ Audio Glasgow 5. Libertines @ Playground Festival 6. Level 42 @ Glasgow Royal Concert Hall 7. Glasvegas @ Playground Festival Didn't include support acts, but special mention to Johnny Hates Jazz (who supported Level 42) for being the cheesiest thing I've ever seen. The singer clearly loved himself and did a lot of talking between songs, but he was a total Alan Partridge type character. Me and my girlfriend found him hilarious, though he wasn't actually intending to be funny.
John the Moth
Does Live @ Worrhy Farm count? If not it’s: 1 crowded house 2..... erm, crowded house’s encore 😭😭😭😭😭😭
charlierc
I literally only went to one show in 2021, which was a friend's band called Weird Milk at the Omeara club in London, so it'll have to be that one.

If it’s not the live at worthy farm then it’s Madness and Squeeze at the tail end of the year! but highlight of the year for us was meeting and having a brief chat and selfie with Michael Eavis at worthy pastures camping. That made up for not getting to gigs all year! Edited January 9, 2022 by Ayrshire Chris

Quark
Top gig for me was Frank Turner in Brighton. First gig back, first time I'd got round to seeing him, and it was absolutely joyous. Snapped Ankles and IDLES bringing up 2nd and 3rd slot. Biggest surprise was a festival set - The Big Moon at Beautiful Days. I knew I liked their album, but blew me away live. 'Your Light' has been living rent-free in my head since August after seeing them.
