I think lights like this might be something to look into. The kind that are battery operated. They come with a timer and the lights stay on for 6 hours and off for 18. You just have to hit the switch at the right time so theyll be on when you likely get back to your tent. Just google "Christmas string lights battery timer" and youll get results. https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwj26ZD0r4f3AhXwDK0GHTQkAUEYABAKGgJwdg&ae=2&sig=AOD64_2hltH6KOtZnAThqeqeKkPZaatb9Q&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwi6-4b0r4f3AhWFDkQIHQFrDNkQwg96BAgBEBs&dct=1&adurl=

There seem to be lots similar... https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Craftsboys-Bluetooth-Changing-Christmas-Decoration/dp/B09L4J9BTC/

Smeble
Bought new solar panels for a vehicle i don’t own yet that’s we are buying from an American in Hungary via South Africa and Croatia, it’s very complicated
TheGChild
Brought a new sleeping bag and roll mat (it's been years). Ordered lights for the tent. Started making a custom T shirt. Went to a local art garden who were having a music and bbq shindig. Between the woods setting, large outdoor art installments, smell of street food and live .music I got the faintest of Glastonbury vibes....though I'm known to get excited at the meer sight of a portaloo. Twiggy553
I bought an opaque wee tub, with lid, for overnight in the van. And before anyone from the urination gets alarmed: I pour it down the festival provided toilet in the morning 😉

giantkatestacks
That reminds me that I have still haven't resolved the Half-a-festival-tent situation I have. I have the tent but not the poles or the bag gah.

The Clearest Blue
Just bought a pillow from ikea, comes vaccuum packed so it’s small and light to carry in, then on the way out, once I’ve drunk all my booze it fits easily in my bag.

BluePaul
Just booked the caravan into the campsite at Cheddar Mendips for the weekend before the festival so the drive in on Tuesday is short and sweet.
